Congratulations to Stephen Roche and Brian Murphy, who volunteered to have their hair shaved into mohawks in aid of this year’s Shave or Dye campaign.
Stephen is a member of the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute (BDI) and Brian is a member of the Marine and Environmental Sensing Technology Hub (MESTECH).
Together raised €840 for the Irish Cancer Society. They have also been counted amongst the 259 people who had their hair shaved into mohawks, smashing the existing record and entering the Guinness book of World Records for the feat.
After the world record attempt, the guys had their remaining hair shaved by Chris’s Barbers on St. Pappins Rd. Chris kindly did so free of charge.
