The centre has long track record of successful collaborative research with industrial partners from product enhancement to the development of new technologies. Examples of technologies that have been successfully commercialised and intellectual property currently available, is given below:

1. ClearCense
Water quality (colour and turbidity) sensor technology developed in collaboration with Siemens Environmental.

2. Ionophores
Calixarene - based ion receptors for the detection of lead and sodium. The NCSR has a contract for the custom synthesis and supply of a range ionophores for major chemical reagents supplier.

3. Fluorescence Signal Capture Technology
Patented technology for the enhancement of fluorescence signals. Licensing of IP being managed by venture capital company.

4. Intelligent Packaging
Sensors for use on modified atmosphere packaging applications. IP being managed by venture capital company.
